Jingpo Valley was formed in Neoproterozoic Era more than 600 million years ago. Because the granite suffers from long time erosion of lake water and wave and persistent damage of frost weathering, the hill by the lake side developed various sizes of cliffs along joints and cracks, and gradually formed 3,000-meter-long valley. There are some Korean villages in the valley, where the authentic delicious Korean food and traditional cultural performance can be experienced.
