Crater No. Ⅱ
This
crater is a parasitic volcanic cone, which is the smallest among the Forest in
Crater composite volcanic
Lanform. The altitude is 970-1,030 m
above sea level. The cylindric crater is about 70 m in average
diameter and 50 m in depth. A parasitic volcanic cone is a new volcanic
cone. During the volcanic eruption and deposit, after a
volcanic cone is formed (or destroyed), a new volcanic vent is explored on its
both side or other parts. Around this new vent the ejecta circle and
pile up to form a new volcanic cone, also called parasitic volcanic cone.
