Lava Dam

The cliff on the southern, western and northern side of Heilong Pool is a natural lava dam. People’s cheerful chatting and laughing can be reflected by the round wall to their own ears.and then reflect back to their ears. Lava Dam often compared with Echo Wall of Temple of Heaven Park in Beijing, but the Echo Wall of Temple of Heaven Park is smooth and evenly curved, while Lava Dam in Jingpohu Geopark has many different levels. There is a poem saying “flowing lava on three sides of cliff, water wave surges up in a hundred feet deep lake, once the silvery water flies, the visitor are all absorbed in this view”.
